The Colour Research Society of Canada is a non-profit organisation for academic and professional colour research, focused on fostering a cross-disciplinary sharing of theoretical and practical colour knowledge.

Mission:

To encourage and promote Canadian colour research and sharing of colour knowledge from diverse areas of practice and scholarly inquiry.

Vision:

To be an active and inclusive pan-Canadian organization furthering Canadian contribution and activity in international colour research and knowledge.

Objectives/Goals:

To develop and support a national, cross-disciplinary network of scholars and practitioners with an interest in practical and/or theoretical engagement with colour.
To encourage discourse between arts, sciences and industry related to colour research and knowledge.
To foster public interest in colour research and knowledge.
To be an active member of the International Colour Association (AIC), in order to enable and encourage Canadian colour researchers’ participation in international colour research, events and publications.
