CRSC Interdisciplinary Seminar at IDS Toronto 2019

Inspired by the IDS 2019 theme of transformation and evolution, CRSC members Doreen Balabanoff, Sharyn Gitalis, and Bob Hambly will present a seminar titled, The Importance of Colour, Light and Darkness for Resonant Human Experience.

Seminar Description

Colour, light and darkness, as Goethe noted, are inseparable aspects of experience that influence how we feel. Philosopher Gernot Böhme describes a new atmospheric concept of the beautiful as a person, object or place that contributes to “intensifying our existence.” This seminar includes practitioners and researchers who will discuss how important spatial light-colour-darkness is to human experience, meaning, sense of place and wellbeing.
