The Sounds of Colour

Ari completed a series of four acrylic paintings, where each piece is themed after a specific colour, and created while listening to a specific genre and era of music. The first painting employed  blues and a pearlescent medium, and was made while listening to 2010s indie music. The second painting features oranges and yellows, and elements of brown and green. This piece was made while listening to 1960s-70s rock music. The third painting was made using reds and some black, with some found materials and a grit medium, while listening to emo music. The fourth piece was created using greens, whites, and some bits of browns, while listening to classical pastoral music.
