Amal Aflak is a Designer Account Executive at Sherwin-Williams with over 17 years of experience in residential, retail, and loft design. Throughout her diverse career, she has held roles as a designer, project manager, and space planner, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of both the artistic and practical elements of interior design.

 

As the Designer Account Executive for Toronto at Sherwin-Williams, Amal supports the residential interior design market through colour and paint specifications. She also provides continuing education to designers, industry partners, and interior design students at the university and college levels. Amal is an industry partner of the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC), an Affiliate Member of the Designers Association of Canada (DDA), and a registered IDCEC speaker and educator.

 

Passionate about the transformative power of colour, Amal collaborates with residential designers and architects to create tailored Sherwin-Williams paint solutions. Her expertise in colour psychology and cultural aesthetics enables her to develop cohesive, personalized palettes that elevate and define each project. Her holistic approach empowers clients to achieve exceptional results, solidifying her reputation as a trusted partner in the interior design community.

 

Amal has shared her knowledge at prominent industry events, including the Toronto Interior Design Show (IDS) and the LivABLE Environment at the Toronto National Home Show. Through her engaging educational programs, she actively supports the growth of both emerging and established design professionals.
