Dianne Din Ebongue is an interdisciplinary artist, arts manager, and curator passionate about intangible cultural heritage, empowerment processes, and knowledge-sharing through the arts. With 15 years of international experience in arts management, social innovation, and digital media, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise, creative strategy, and cross-cultural fluency to her work.

Diane holds a Master’s Degree in Science, Arts and Techniques of Image and Sound from Aix-Marseille University (France) and a Master’s Degree in Technologies for Education and Training from Rennes 2 University (France). She is also a graduate of the Rozsa Arts Management Program at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

Throughout her career, Diane has led and contributed to a range of artistic, cultural, and research-based initiatives across Europe, Australia, Cameroon, and Canada. She directed a multidisciplinary art centre and gallery in Australia, curated public art projects exploring how digital experiences can contribute to community revitalization in France, contributed to the creation of a European medialab network addressing the digital divide and its ripple effects on social inclusion, and presented participatory artworks advocating for human rights during the International Council on Archives’ first world conference in Africa.

Since relocating to Canada four years ago, Diane has combined her artistic practice with leadership and governance roles that align with cross-disciplinary collaboration and strategic development.  In 2024, she founded Inclusive Pixels, an online educational platform and community of practice dedicated to advancing equitable representation of the full spectrum of skin tones in media arts, from traditional formats to emerging technologies such as VR, AR, and AI environments. Through her research and practice, she investigates how colour perception and representation intersect with equity, technology, and visual storytelling.
