Joshua Williams
TREASURER

I am a multidisciplinary educator and designer with a focus on creativity in the fields of graphic design, fashion, colour theory, and design fundamentals. I have spent over a decade as an educator at Toronto Metropolitan University and Humber College, teaching a range of design-based theoretical and technical courses in Fashion, Business, and Creative Industry programs. I am classically trained as a fashion designer, holding Bachelor of Design and Master of Arts degrees in Fashion from Toronto Metropolitan University. I also have supervisory experience responsible for the production studio at Ewanika, a local Toronto independent fashion design and boutique in operation for over 25 years. Beyond my current teaching responsibilities, I also provide freelance graphic design services with a concentration on logo design.
My interests and hobbies include cooking, baking, yoga, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and learning new languages. I can speak Japanese, I am learning Spanish, and I am interested in Arabic for its calligraphic beauty. Not only do I have a strong appreciation for colour and typography, I especially love shapes!
