We invite you to participate in our next event happening on International Colour Day - March 21, 2019: the CRSC Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Interface Showroom located at 134 Peter Street, #1602, Toronto.
The AGM will begin at 6pm EST, followed by a lecture at 7pm EST by artist Tania Love titled, "Colour Perspectives: Art practice through the lens of plant and mineral pigments."
Tania Love will present her reflections on the impact of colour, historical uses of colour, recipes and preparations as well as her personal research and explorations of plant and mineral based colour on paper and textiles.

Tania Love is a Toronto based visual artist who takes the cues for her work from the natural and cultural environment.
Her curiosity in the intersection between traditional methods and innovative expressions has led her to explore a breadth of materials including plant based inks and dyes, milk paint, salvaged wire, paper and textiles.
Recipient of numerous grants, international residencies and exhibitions, her work has been seen in public and commercial galleries across the globe from her native Toronto and Ontario surrounds to NY, France, Poland, India and Japan. Up coming her work will be featured in a solo exhibition at the a Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in Almonte, Ontario.
